Pirate Life Perth is a multi-level sanctuary of dining, drinking, and brewing - a collection of electric experiences under one roof. Housed within the former Old Sony Centre at 440 Murray Street, the precinct delivers a layered hospitality journey centred around its in-house brewery.
The precinct’s social heartbeat is the Main Hall. Rotating taps pouring what’s brewed fresh “right here & right now” are paired with next-level pub classics, DJs on the brew deck, and a rotating line-up of the biggest sporting events, live and loud on the mega screen. Step out to the alfresco - the spot
for a cold one in the sunshine, right in the heart of the CBD. At its core sits the working brewhouse - Perth CBD’s largest - proudly led by rockstar head brewer Dan Feist.
The Pirate Life Bistro is your escape from the buzz of the Brew Hall - a moody, modern dining space where comfort meets craftsmanship.
Settle into cushy booths, enjoy table service, and soak up the energy from the open kitchen nearby. It’s refined yet relaxed, the kind of place where fire meets flavour, and good taste lingers longer than your last sip.
Head past PLP Bistro to discover BACKROOMÂ - three sports screens, cold beers, and retro arcade fun from Pac-Man to pinball. Challenge your mates to air hockey, shoot a round of pool, or pull up a stool at the Backroom bar and watch the game!
And then there’s DEADBEAT - your portal to the glory days. Cocktails, craft beers, throwback snacks, and the beats of the 80s, 90s, and 00s, all packed into a rebellious speakeasy that thrives on excess, energy, and unapologetic fun.
The precinct also houses two PDRs: The Mezz, an elevated space overlooking the brewery, and TANK, a subterranean escape with views into the brewhouse.

An epic collab between Pirate Life & Sneakers & Jeans saw Pirate Life Perth open in October 2021. The Pirate Life founders are originally from Perth, but took the project over to Adelaide six years ago where they grew the brand into a national phenomenon.
Located in Perth’s CBD at the old Sony Centre on Murray Street, the impressive Pirate Life Perth venue showcases a multitude of unique spaces - including in-house brewery, PDRs & unique Perth merchandise digs.
The brewery brews venue-exclusive beers and continually push the boundaries of what beer can be with regular one-off brews, events & activations.
